Hm, I think it helps if there's a game you really want to play, even if you're not at the required level. Could use more work on her art but she never fails to deliver a yandere game with no true good ends on April Fools. Nothing commercial can faze me.) Yuuakari is one still-active example. If you like yandere, a lot of Japanese indie makers ply their trade in that alone with free otome games. Basically every route has a yandere ending, so go wild! Kobashi is a very satisfying route. The final ending torments me to this day.oh wait yeah this has yanderes. I could've used an even darker and weirder tone but what it already has is refreshingly different from the rest of the pack. Special Mention Because I Already Punched It Out on Mobile: Sweet Clown. From my notes I was most impressed by Joker. The heroine's personality comes back! She gets dialogue! Read what it's like when her amnesia ISN'T an issue! I liked this fandisc very much. The character interactions are heartwarming and fun. More of a light-hearted buddy comedy than an otome like the others but the Japanese level is more accessible and it's fun. SpiChun's not bringing it to English, so may as well. Favorite is a tie between Daisuke and Garaiya. Though nuanced, I also like how positive and spunky the heroine is. Do you like blushing boys hyperventilating over their own feelings? This is your jam.
One route did a huge disservice to the character, but production values are solid and I enjoyed the rest of the routes. Not Japanese-beginner-friendly due to heavy plot, though. Even my most despised character got a good narrative turn. It's like they picked up all the narrative tissue from the cutting room floor to make up for the first game, and I'm shocked at how solid the writing is and the places they explore. Umm, limiting to what a fan learning Japanese can look forward to. I basically liked all of the titles I played, though I based them off careful consideration of reviews, as well.
